This is a private workshop for Carol Pound and friends. This workshop is meant to develop trust in your own intuition while learning some principles of abstract art. We will concentrate on the basic unit of abstract art, the mark, and the painterly techniques to transform the mark and make it expressive and uniquely your own. The morning begins with a meet and greet. Suzanne will talk a little about Abstract Art and the topics that will be covered for the day. There may be a short slide show for inspiration. Through guided exercises and explorations, you will learn:

3. To make marks you like

4. To learn to transform marks as a basis for making abstract art

6. To have fun while creating
