GO WILD WITH US! In this memorable 4 Days, Suzanne Jacquot and Julie Schumer will lead you through a series of discussions, demonstrations, structured exercises and personal support to help you learn and explore:
tools and techniques used in the creation of non-objective paintings
ways to give your paintings structure and clarity
ways to activate and enliven the painting surface
how to breakthrough into new territory
ways to take your image from chaos to dynamic
the power of color through mixing, value and hue
explore your own marks
You will gain courage, build trust in your own artistic choices, grow your skills of composition, explore your own visual language and nurture your creative spirit. There will be plenty of free painting time along with the helpful instruction. Come prepared to discover Sonoma Wine Country, the art of play and tap in to your inner wildness! All levels welcome.
Materials list: Bring favorite paint brushes, paint tools such as scrapers, spatulas, palette knives, brayers, etc., paint clothes, artist mixed media sketchbook 9 x 12" or 11 x 14", 10 sheets of 22” x 30” heavy-weight mixed media paper, 1 pad of Canson water color paper 140 lb - 18” x 24”, acrylic paints——warm and cool reds, blues, yellows, and black and white and any other favorite colors, pad of palette paper 11” x 17”, drawing tools to include graphite sticks - water soluble and non-soluble, black pastel, eraser, sponge, any other drawing tools such as stabillo woody’s, art crayon, etc., camera or smart cell phone

Cost: $950.
$850 Returning workshop participants
Bring a friend for fun and savings: $1600 for two
Materials fee is included in all prices.
REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Full refund - $75 if requested 60 days prior to start of course. 1/2 refund if requested 31 days prior to start of course. No refund if canceled within 30 days of start date of course. To request a refund, please email Suzanne at ljsjacquot@gmail.com.
All moneys forfeited go into a fund for Studio4404 maintenance and student scholarships.
